Buyers in any price range have choices of houses priced at fair market value. Low interest rates and easily available mortgages are good for buyers and sellers. Although many "lowball" offers continue to be made, most closing prices are near fair market value and some of them are actually accepted. We are not seeing prices rise yet, but expect them to by the first of the new year.
