This easy to navigate service provides a rating system that examines the effectiveness of over 5,000 charities and applies a rating ranging from zero to four stars. In addition you will find lots of valuable information and tips to help you with your altruistic efforts.

Great Place #2: Find People Info Fast and Easy

Looking for your old buddy in the Navy? How about a long lost classmate, neighbor, business associate or friend? This great place provides lots of information about the object of your search including public record data, work history, education, social networking information, address, family, photos, public phone number, email, news and blog entries.

The good news is that this great search service is free and you do not have to create an account or log in to use it. The bad news is that much of the data is provided by Intelius and when you really need some of the good stuff you'll need to get out your wallet. Allowing for the fact that these folks need to feed their children, this great place is a vast source of intriguing information. They should call this great place the Google for people (with an occasional surcharge).
